Management Faculty Position – Business Planning Course

About the role

We are seeking a qualified faculty member to teach a cross‑functional, experiential course on business planning within an entrepreneurial environment. The role involves delivering the fundamentals of business planning, guiding students through project‑based learning, and fostering active community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum covering business planning fundamentals.
• Facilitate experiential, project‑based activities that connect students with local community partners.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure interdisciplinary integration.
• Maintain course materials and stay current with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (business, entrepreneurship, management, etc.).
• Professional experience in business disciplines, board service, or active participation in professional associations within the past five years.
• Consideration given to candidates with an undergraduate degree plus a relevant professional designation.
• Prior university teaching experience is an asset.

Required skills
