About the role
McGill University's School of Computer Science is looking for a Lecturer to teach Foundations of Programming (COMP 202) during the Fall 2026 term. The role involves delivering lectures, guiding laboratory sessions, and assessing student performance in a large undergraduate class.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly lectures and lead tutorial sessions for COMP 202.
- Design and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Develop and update course materials, including slides and lab exercises.
- Provide academic support and feedback to students.
Required profile
- Master's or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching large university‑level introductory programming courses.
- Excellent English communication skills.

- Python programming.
- Algorithms.
