Junior IT & Compliance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT & Compliance Engineer to be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day IT support in our remote‑first environment. You will keep Velora’s teams productive and secure while contributing to our SOC 2, GDPR and PCI compliance efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all day‑to‑day IT requests, providing clear and friendly communication.
• Install, configure and support employee hardware, software and accounts on macOS and Windows, troubleshooting issues remotely.
• Collaborate with remote employees, vendors and contractors to fulfill IT requests and integrate external services.
• Procure and provision hardware, maintain asset inventory, and manage secure onboarding and off‑boarding of devices and accounts.
• Assist with evidence collection and control testing for SOC 2, GDPR and PCI obligations, keeping audit artifacts organized and up‑to‑date.
• Share troubleshooting patterns, documentation standards and audit‑readiness habits with teammates.
