Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Global Senior Care is seeking a proactive Human Resources Specialist to lead and coordinate HR activities across the organization. You will ensure HR processes align with business goals while fostering a supportive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer staff consultation, grievance procedures and labour dispute mediation.
• Develop, implement and evaluate HR policies, programs and recruitment strategies.
• Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits, performance appraisal and training initiatives.
• Manage HR budget, expenditures and reporting.
• Research and maintain occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, collective agreements and benefit programs.
• Analyze employee data, recommend health and safety improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach HR staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
• First Aid certification.
• Strong oral and written communication, judgment, organization and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
