Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support both corporate HR functions and day‑to‑day store operations for Real Fruit Bubble Tea across Canada and the United States. Reporting to the HR Director, you will help design and deliver HR programs that align with our rapid growth while also rolling up your sleeves to work on‑site as a barista when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Support talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and preparing employment agreements.
• Administer probationary, annual performance and compensation reviews, and employee development plans.
• Provide guidance to Store and Regional Managers on employee relations, attendance, performance issues and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Manage onboarding, orientations and maintain accurate employee records.
• Maintain the employee database and HR information systems, and generate HR activity reports.
• Assist with payroll administration, budgeting and other HR‑related functions.
• Coordinate Canadian and U.S. immigration processes, liaising with external lawyers and monitoring work‑permit compliance.

Required profile

• Comfortable working both in an office environment and directly in store operations.
• Ability to support store operations on‑site when required.
• Experience handling employee relations, performance management and immigration support.
• Reports directly to the HR Director.
