Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy and operations for its Canadian business. Based in Toronto with regular site visits across the GTA, the role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on execution to support growth and employee success.

Key responsibilities

• HR Leadership & Partnership – Provide guidance across the HR function, acting as a trusted partner and building strong relationships.
• Team Development & Capability Building – Coach and mentor HR team members, strengthening capability and consistency.
• Talent & HR Operations – Design and deliver forward‑looking talent programs, recruitment, learning, succession planning and mobility.
• Employee Relations & Organizational Effectiveness – Advise on complex employee relations issues and drive organizational improvements.
• Systems & Insights – Leverage HR data and reporting to support decision‑making and day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• 10‑15 years of progressive HR experience, including leading and coaching HR professionals.
• Broad expertise in talent management, HR operations, employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Strong business acumen, influence, judgment and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proven experience with HR systems such as Workday.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational execution.
