Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to manage full‑cycle recruitment, employee relations, health & safety coordination, and HR administration in a fast‑paced operational environment. The role supports both specialized driver hiring and broader warehouse staffing while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for drivers and internal roles across warehouse, CSR, billing, and operations.
• Develop and post job ads on multiple platforms; conduct proactive headhunting and candidate sourcing.
• Represent the company at job fairs, open houses, and networking events in Montreal and Toronto.
• Provide orientation and onboarding sessions, preparing offer letters and disciplinary correspondence.
• Maintain accurate HR records, process status changes, and coordinate payroll documentation.
• Support benefits administration, prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics), and ensure compliance with employment standards.
• Assist managers with employee relations issues, conduct surveys, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in full‑cycle recruitment, particularly for driver and warehouse positions.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to partner with managers on staffing needs and workforce planning.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for record‑keeping and reporting.
