Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

Southbridge Health Care LP is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and program support across HR, Labour Relations, and Total Rewards functions for its long‑term care and retirement homes in Ontario. The role will manage employee lifecycle activities, benefits, pension, compensation, recognition, and leave programs while serving as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for onboarding, off‑boarding, employee documentation, and HR communications.
• Administer total rewards programs including benefits, pension, compensation, recognition, and leaves of absence.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and program documentation ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve employee inquiries.
• Support HR initiatives such as performance management, compensation reviews, training, employee engagement, and wellness activities.
• Compile, analyze, and report HR metrics and workforce data to aid decision‑making.
• Contribute to process improvements and HR projects that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, managers, and external providers.
• Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to sites across Ontario as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
