Human Resources Administrator

About the role

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join their People & Culture team on a two‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. Based in Vaughan, ON, this on‑site role offers hands‑on experience across the employee lifecycle, onboarding, documentation, and HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to various People & Culture functions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and facilitate new‑hire orientation.
• Prepare employment letters and respond to verification requests.
• Manage internal and external HR inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
• Assist with scheduling training sessions and supporting ongoing HR projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Foundational understanding of HR practices and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint (Microsoft 365).
• Experience using HRIS platforms, preferably UKG.
