HR Generalist – Full-Time at Temple Gardens Centre

About the role

Oak View Group is seeking an HR Generalist to join its People Operations team supporting the Temple Gardens Centre in southwestern Saskatchewan. The role combines administrative HR tasks with strategic employee‑relations initiatives, acting as a bridge between corporate HR and the venue’s field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, provincial and national employment laws, including leave and accommodation regulations.
• Investigate and manage initial employee‑relations issues, documenting cases and recommending resolutions.
• Provide benefits information, advise employees on their options, and resolve benefit‑related queries.
• Conduct onboarding activities, review paperwork, and deliver a positive first‑day experience.
• Maintain employee records, track HR metrics and generate reports using the HRIS system.
• Offer policy guidance and interpretation to staff and managers.
• Serve as liaison between corporate HR functions and the venue, fielding HR questions and support requests.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment standards, FMLA, ADA and related legislation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential matters.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple HR processes simultaneously.
• Proactive approach to staying current with HR trends and best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
• Experience in benefits administration and compensation communication.
• Familiarity with employee‑relations investigations and documentation.
