HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic liaison between the Human Resources function and the Milton site, ensuring that HR policies, practices and initiatives are effectively implemented. This senior role supports managers and employees across all talent management, labor relations and employee engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, testing, interviewing and provide counsel to managers on candidate selection.
• Update job requirements and descriptions, and conduct exit interviews with analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee labor relations activities, coordinate reporting with the Senior HR Manager and respond to external regulatory inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local laws and procedures; coach leaders on employee management.
• Lead talent management initiatives including engagement, rewards, succession planning and talent acquisition.
• Administer local benefits and compensation programs in partnership with corporate HR.
• Deliver training, facilitate individual development plans and manage performance management processes.
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide change‑management leadership for regional initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of generalist HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong business acumen, consulting, influencing and change‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
