Hospitalist Physician

About the role

Fraser Health is looking for dedicated physicians to join the Hospital Medicine program at Langley Memorial Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality acute care to a diverse inpatient population while working closely with an inter‑professional team.

Key responsibilities

• Admit and manage care for unattached patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
• Provide supportive care for selected surgical and specialty medical patients.
• Participate in rounding lines, admission shifts, overnight and virtual shifts as needed.
• Collaborate daily with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff.

Required profile

• Licensed (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
• Hold a CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP credential.
• ACLS certification strongly suggested.
• Hospitalist experience, fellowship, or membership in professional hospital medicine societies is an asset.
• Commitment to acute‑care excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
