Emergency Medicine Physician – Full Time (Langley, BC)

About the role

Join a dedicated team of physicians at Fraser Health’s brand‑new Emergency Department in Langley, BC. You will help deliver high‑quality, timely emergency care to a rapidly growing community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical assessment, treatment, and disposition for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, ICU, surgery, and specialty services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and contribute to departmental quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI) and laboratory services to support clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Medical degree and eligibility for a full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Board certification or fellowship in Emergency Medicine (e.g., FRCP, CCCFP).
• Commitment to full‑time, permanent employment in an onsite hospital setting.

Required skills

• EMACLS certification.
• ATLS certification.
• PALSC certification.
• CPSBC Full or Provisional registration.
• Eligibility for CPSBC USA certification (if applicable).
