General Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The General Manager will provide full strategic and operational leadership for MasterBrand’s made‑to‑order manufacturing operations under the Kitchen Craft brand. Reporting to the Vice President of Semi‑Custom Operations, this role owns the Winnipeg facility and is responsible for business strategy, execution and performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a workforce of over 1,000 employees, driving operational excellence and a culture of safety.
• Own full P&L accountability, delivering results on volume, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term strategic plans aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Manage day‑to‑day manufacturing in a complex, multi‑SKU, highly customized environment.
• Identify performance gaps and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, quality and throughput.
• Champion the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, including RFID and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to align production capabilities with market demand.
• Coach and develop leadership talent, ensuring succession planning and capability building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of improving efficiency and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading large, complex operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
