Family Physician – Private Practice

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our private practice clinic. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, fostering long‑term health relationships, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to identify diseases, injuries, and overall health status.
• Order laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures to guide treatment.
• Consult with other practitioners to evaluate physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
• Provide acute, emergency, and counselling support to patients and families.
• Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to authorities.
• Coordinate and manage primary patient care.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine (MD) or equivalent.
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
