Health & Safety Manager

About the role

The Health & Safety Manager will support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Classic Fire + Life Safety’s national occupational health and safety management system. Working closely with the Director, Health & Safety, you will partner with operational leaders across multiple provinces to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen the safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the national Health & Safety strategy and promote a positive safety culture.
• Provide leadership on safety initiatives across provinces and drive organizational change management related to safety.
• Maintain and improve the corporate Health & Safety Management System, including policy, procedure and safe‑work‑practice updates.
• Ensure programs comply with provincial and federal legislation and support COR® certification where applicable.
• Standardize documentation nationally and collaborate with field operations to verify program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proactive leader able to influence without direct authority.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across multiple locations.
• Ability to balance operational realities with regulatory compliance.
• Experience in occupational health and safety management, preferably in fire protection or life‑safety environments.
