Care Coordinator – Hamilton Region

About the role

Join Lifemark Health Group’s Hamilton clinic as a Care Coordinator, supporting patients, staff and referral partners while delivering high‑quality administrative service in a fast‑paced health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors, and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate detailed patient intake and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist patients with paperwork, schedule appointments, and collect payments.
• Process insurance claims, billing, and invoicing for third‑party funders.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and courier packages.
• Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent; post‑secondary education in Medical Office Administration is an asset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a physiotherapy or private health‑care clinic is an asset.
• Reliable transportation to work at multiple clinics across the Hamilton region.
