About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative and strategic support to the Vice President of the Enterprise Delivery Office at Scotiabank. This role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, manages complex schedules, and coordinates enterprise‑level initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendar, time, and travel arrangements for the VP and senior leadership.
- Draft, edit, and format memos, letters, reports, speeches, presentations, and news releases.
- Arrange, attend, and take minutes for meetings; distribute minutes promptly.
- Monitor and approve standard expenditures within established budgets.
- Act as primary liaison for department initiatives and business continuity planning.
- Support inclusive practices and community engagement activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience as an executive assistant.
- Experience in large, complex organizations with extensive stakeholder management.
- Impeccable organizational skills, autonomy, and solution‑oriented attitude.
- High level of discretion handling confidential matters.
- Strong time‑management, communication, and presentation abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
