About the role
We are looking for an Ethnic Food Cook to join our kitchen in Etobicoke. The role focuses on South Indian, West Indian and vegetarian cuisine, preparing meals for diverse customers, including those with food allergies.
Key responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for each service.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Prepare special dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory records of food, supplies and equipment.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
- Organized, team‑player with strong time‑management skills.
