About the role
We are seeking a Cook to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, with a focus on Italian cuisine, for our restaurant in Etobicoke. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the restaurant offers mentorship programs for newcomers and refugees.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
Required profile
- Client focus and excellent oral communication.
- Initiative, reliability, and strong teamwork.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
- Capability to work under pressure.
- 1–2 years of cooking experience, preferably in Italian cuisine.
