Early Talent Coordinator – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Role

About the role

The Early Talent Coordinator supports the recruitment and HR processes for a designated business group at RBC. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Toronto and works closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Post job openings on internal and external job boards, including campus career sites.
• Maintain accurate candidate documentation, interview schedules, and tracking in Workday.
• Coordinate interview logistics and candidate travel for recruiters and hiring managers.
• Process vendor invoices, manage the vendor database, and support contract administration.
• Communicate recruitment status and procedures clearly to candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
• Assist with resume screening, candidate sourcing, and background check coordination.
• Order, prepare, and ship marketing collateral for job fairs and campus events.
• Support orientation, offer letters, and special HR projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑4 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR, preferably within a major financial services firm.
• Familiarity with legal contracts and confidential information handling.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Workday (HRIS) – preferred.
• Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Proficient internet research and navigation.
