Duty Manager – Airport Operations

About the role

The Duty Manager supports the Station Manager in overseeing all airport handling functions, ensuring smooth operations for passenger, baggage, ramp, cargo, lounge and ground services. This position plays a key part in maintaining service standards for departing, arriving and transit flights.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Station Manager in managing daily airport operations across all handling areas.
• Ensure PAL flights are processed according to agreed service levels.
• Provide briefings to senior management during the Station Manager’s absence, especially during irregular operations.
• Monitor performance, address operational issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Holder of a four‑year degree in any discipline.
• 10‑12 years of experience in airport handling functions.
• Strong knowledge of passenger, baggage, ramp handling and station & load control.
• Familiarity with cargo handling (knowledge acceptable if not hands‑on experience).
