Senior Manager, Global Sourcing

About the role

Article is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing to connect global category strategy with regional execution across North America and Vietnam. You will act as the single point of contact for internal teams and lead sourcing operations to maximise product margins and strengthen the supply base.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic liaison for Category Management, translating commercial briefs into global procurement plans.
• Own the annual Category Positioning Matrix to balance business impact against supply‑market risk.
• Drive cost governance, commercial negotiations and Bill‑of‑Material visibility to optimise landed cost.
• Design and execute supply‑base diversification strategies to mitigate geopolitical and single‑source risks.
• Provide strategic direction and escalation support to regional sourcing teams, reducing cycle times and protecting lead‑time commitments.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive sourcing or strategic procurement experience, preferably in retail furniture or high‑velocity apparel.
• Proven record of supply‑footprint transformation, vendor rationalisation and multi‑regional risk mitigation.
• Experience working in a matrixed organisation collaborating with design, product development, quality, finance and planning.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to travel 25‑35% internationally.

• Google Workspace / G‑Suite for enterprise collaboration.
• Wrike for structured project‑management pipelines.

What we offer

• Salary range $158,000‑$176,000 CAD, plus performance‑based cash bonus.
