About the role

Dream Timbers Construction is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join its team in Brampton. The successful candidate will work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring walls are finished to high standards.

Key responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
Apply joint compound with trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks.
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs or joists.
Secure sheets, smooth excess compound, and allow coats to dry.
Use a taping machine to embed tape over joints and finish seams.

Required profile

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
1 to less than 2 years of drywall installation experience.
