About the role
Dream Timbers Construction is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join its team in Brampton. The successful candidate will work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring walls are finished to high standards.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Apply joint compound with trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks.
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs or joists.
- Secure sheets, smooth excess compound, and allow coats to dry.
- Use a taping machine to embed tape over joints and finish seams.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of drywall installation experience.
