P3 Project Manager, Infrastructure Asset Management

About the role

Fengate is seeking a Project Manager in its Infrastructure Group, responsible for project delivery and asset management of infrastructure projects, initially focused on an operational healthcare Public-Private Partnership (P3) asset. The role ensures that obligations under the project contracts are met, optimizes asset performance and oversees subcontractors. It is a hybrid position with at least three days per week at an asset location in Brampton, Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer contractual relationships with stakeholders such as the Contracting Authority, contractors, shareholders and lenders' technical advisor.
• Monitor compliance with the Project Agreement, lending and shareholder agreements, insurance requirements and other contracts, and address non-compliance proactively.
• Coordinate reports, notices and communications to the client, contractors and lenders.
• Monitor operations, maintenance, lifecycle and other service providers to ensure performance standards are met.
• Identify, assess and track project risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Support resolution of project issues, claims and commercial matters.
• Assist in annual business plans and budgets, and monitor performance against financial and operational objectives.
• Support project insurance, claims management and security requirements such as letters of credit, bonds and guarantees.
• Monitor lifecycle planning, major maintenance and capital rehabilitation programs.
• Prepare materials for Board, shareholder and lender reporting and support corporate governance and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering or a related field.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience in P3 infrastructure, facility management and/or construction within a healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to be self-sufficient with minimal supervision.
