About the role

Lighthouse Medical Imaging is looking for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and support patients during examinations in North York.

Key responsibilities

Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record diagnostic images.
Analyze patients during examinations and provide personal assistance.
Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and routine checks on ultrasound equipment.
Supervise and train other sonographers and students in training.
Prepare examination reports for physicians and ensure image quality.

Required profile

2 to less than 3 years of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer.
Accurate, dependable, and client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

Ultrasound equipment operation and image acquisition.
Equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
Abdominal, obstetrical & gynecological, peripheral vascular, adult and pediatric neurosonology imaging.
Recording, storing, and processing scanned images.
