Data Scientist

About the role

New Flyer is seeking a Data Scientist to turn ERP and IoT data into actionable insights. You will design, test, document, and implement advanced analytics solutions that support manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build interactive Power BI dashboards for data storytelling and decision support.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models using Snowflake data.
• Perform data exploration, statistical analysis, and feature engineering for AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with data‑engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines.
• Evaluate model performance, retrain models, and integrate them into business processes.
• Update training materials, documentation, and deliver user training as needed.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in a Business or STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in data science, AI, or advanced analytics.
• Training or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, or Artificial Intelligence.
