Computer Service Technician

About the role

CDC Computers is seeking a motivated Computer Service Technician to join our on‑site customer service team in Winnipeg. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and consumer products.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products to determine repair requirements.
• Repair electronic equipment and assemblies using hand, power, or specialized tools.
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults.
• Test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functioning.
• Calibrate products using hand tools and perform alignment tasks.
• Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates and read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Provide courteous customer service throughout the repair process.

Required profile

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience repairing electronic equipment.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and meet language requirements (English or French).
