Data Analyst – Payment Decision Support

About the role

PC Financial is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Payment Decision Support, Customer Insights team. You will help turn diverse data sources into actionable insights that drive profitability and improve the customer experience across Marketing, Contact Center and AML functions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, prepare, and analyze large data sets using hands‑on coding.
• Provide data analysis for Contact Center, Marketing campaigns and Anti‑Money Laundering teams.
• Work with modern data platforms, quickly adopt emerging technologies such as Google Cloud Platform and Python.
• Collaborate with partners across the organization to support business initiatives.
• Apply advanced analytics and build models to uncover business opportunities.
• Create end‑to‑end reporting and data processes, performing ad‑hoc analysis from heterogeneous sources.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services or banking.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Curiosity about business models and customer journeys to generate insights.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying data‑driven opportunities and challenges.
• Understanding of data‑warehouse and data‑mart concepts.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics or related field.
