Director, Program Management, Enterprise Delivery Office

About the role

The Director, Program Management will support the VP of Delivery & Portfolio Management in overseeing a large‑scale enterprise program. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment across governance, design, delivery, and support workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment with ScotiaTech’s goals.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and external consultants to define and drive the strategic roadmap.
• Establish and manage integrated plans with the delivery team, involving key stakeholders and subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain professional communication with business and technology clients to manage expectations and deliverables.
• Implement robust project‑management methodologies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Escalate critical issues and support executive forums for decision‑making.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners.
• Drive Agile maturity and collaborate with product, engineering, and business partners.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships while controlling costs.
• Monitor quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with best practices and regulations.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives and manage changing priorities, risks, and issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large, complex programs in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and external consulting partners.
• Strong governance, risk‑management, and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and driving process maturity.
• Demonstrated budget and resource‑management expertise.
