Senior Project Manager – 12‑month Contract

About the role

Interac is seeking a Senior Project Manager on a 12‑month contract to lead complex product and technology initiatives. You will work closely with product owners, service owners, and executive leaders to ensure seamless delivery across software development, infrastructure, and security domains.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute product and technology initiatives, coordinating squads and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop integrated delivery plans, manage dependencies, and prioritize work across multiple backlogs.
• Engage with stakeholders—including product owners, domain leads, and external partners—to drive decisions and alignment.
• Provide visibility into progress, risks, issues, and metrics in partnership with the Enterprise Project Management Office and Agile Practice.
• Identify risks early, design mitigation strategies, and manage change across scope, timeline, and financials.
• Promote Agile practices and tools to accelerate delivery and improve processes.

Required profile

• Proven delivery leadership experience in planning and executing epics and stories within an Agile framework.
• Strong dependency‑management skills, able to track and resolve internal and external risks.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities to coordinate across senior leadership and external partners.
• Experience in change‑management and stakeholder alignment for large‑scale initiatives.
