Copywriter – Marketing Agency

About the role

We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our award‑winning CRM agency in Toronto. You will collaborate with a team of over 150 communication experts, crafting compelling short‑ and long‑form copy for direct and digital campaigns while helping clients achieve their marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging long and short copy for direct and digital assignments.
• Create original concepts and content in partnership with Art Directors and Account teams.
• Deeply understand client brands and maintain consistent brand voice.
• Present creative work internally and incorporate feedback positively.
• Mentor junior writers and support their development.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high‑quality results.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of advertising or marketing copywriting experience (agency background preferred).
• Post‑secondary degree or diploma.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent rapport‑building abilities.
• Effective time‑management and a confident, ego‑free attitude.
• Positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to question and improve processes.
• Accountability, even when highlighting mistakes, and a passion for advertising.
