Coordinator, Construction Services

About the role

The Coordinator, Construction Services is responsible for managing low‑complexity construction, professional services and service contracts, ensuring they meet contractual and quality requirements. Working under the direction of a senior contract coordinator, the incumbent interacts daily with contractors and client‑partners to resolve issues, negotiate changes, and monitor progress.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts and verify compliance with contractual terms.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day contractual issues and resolve disputes.
• Monitor schedules, maintain site activity records, and review progress claims.
• Liaise with client‑partner representatives on risks and contract‑related problems.
• Assess, negotiate, and issue contract change orders.
• Ensure health, safety, industrial security and environmental compliance on site.
• Perform financial control and risk management for assigned contracts.
• Coordinate consultant construction reviews and third‑party testing.

Required profile

• College diploma in engineering, applied science or a related field.
• Approximately two years of relevant experience in construction contract administration.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project, contract and risk management principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard computer software and operating systems used in contract administration.
