About the role

Join Alberta Paving Ltd as an Asphalt Paving Screed Operator working on seasonal road and construction projects in Calgary and surrounding areas. You will operate and maintain heavy paving equipment in an outdoor, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers and front‑end loaders.
• Clean, lubricate and refill equipment tanks.
• Run computer‑controlled paving machinery.
• Perform pre‑operational equipment checks.
• Prepare accident reports when required.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of asphalt finishing experience.
• Physically demanding work with attention to detail.
• Bondable with criminal record and driving record checks.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.

Required skills

• Paver operation.
• Roller operation.
• Front‑end loader operation.
• Computer‑controlled equipment operation.
