Contract Recruiter – High-Volume Hiring

About the role

This short‑term contract position supports a large, fast‑paced organization in Richmond, BC. You will join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team to deliver high‑volume recruitment across operations, skilled trades, and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for 25–35 concurrent roles, contributing to a team handling ~85 open positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and provide timely recruitment support.
• Source, screen, and assess candidates for unionized, shift‑based, and corporate positions.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain clear candidate communications throughout the process.
• Keep accurate candidate records in the ATS (Taleo or similar).
• Provide market insights and recruitment guidance to stakeholders.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting tight timelines.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high‑volume environments.
• Strong background recruiting for unionized roles (majority of hiring portfolio).
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Self‑starter who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp‑up.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills
