Commercial Project Manager

About the role

Gerry Enns Contracting, a division of Emil Anderson Group, is looking for a Commercial Project Manager to lead a variety of commercial and residential construction projects across the Fraser Valley. The role involves planning, supervising, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while providing an excellent client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to define project specifications.
• Negotiate and award contracts, manage subcontractors, and review shop drawings.
• Submit and manage RFIs and submittals, and develop project schedules.
• Code job costs, produce monthly financial reports, and chair project meetings.
• Write scope of work documents and supervise staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Commercial/Residential Project Manager.
• In‑depth understanding of construction and project‑management principles.
• Experience with WorkSafe BC safety standards and a valid driver’s licence.
• PMP or equivalent certification and Red Seal trade qualification are assets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project.
• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
