Pipelayer – Civil Construction (Union Rate $39-41/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a Pipelayer to join our civil construction crew in the Fraser Valley. You will work outdoors alongside a skilled team to install water, sewer and storm‑drain pipe systems that keep communities moving safely.

Key responsibilities

• Rig and hoist pipe sections safely, ensuring proper securing and support.
• Install various pipe systems including water mains, sanitary sewers and storm drains.
• Assist in trench preparation, grading and coordinate with equipment operators.
• Assemble and install manholes and catch basins.
• Maintain clean, safe worksite and keep tools and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of civil construction experience.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Willingness to learn, strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and in varying weather conditions.

Required skills

• Pipe rigging and hoisting.
• Pipe installation techniques.
• Manhole and catch basin assembly.
• Trench preparation and grading.
