About the role

The Economic Development Project Manager will support PME MTL Centre-Ouest’s strategic vision by fostering collaboration between local businesses, organizations, and the agency. The role combines project management, community outreach, and communications to stimulate economic growth in the Centre‑West region.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse local needs, monitor economic project files, and identify opportunities for development.
• Stimulate the ecosystem by participating in ongoing initiatives and supporting coordinated economic projects.
• Design, coordinate, and promote events, networking activities, and informational campaigns.
• Produce and disseminate promotional, informational, and administrative documents.
• Evaluate the impact of actions, adjust strategies, and report on outcomes.
• Collaborate with communication teams to create social‑media content and other communication assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in urban studies, sociology, communications, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in economic development or communications, with proven project‑management experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, partnership development, and group facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and oral French, knowledge of the Centre‑West territory, and flexibility for evening/weekend work.
