About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team at Jesse Mart in Wabasca‑Desmarais. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers on‑the‑job training and a fast‑paced retail environment. You will be part of a supportive team that values punctuality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Operate the cash register and process cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
Calculate daily/shift totals and reconcile them with overall sales.
Greet customers and provide a welcoming checkout experience.
Maintain accuracy and speed in a busy store setting.
Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
Assist with basic store upkeep and merchandise organization.

Required profile

No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle weekend shifts.
Willingness to learn and follow company policies.
Availability for day and weekend shifts.
