About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team at Jesse Mart in Wabasca‑Desmarais. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers on‑the‑job training and a fast‑paced retail environment. You will be part of a supportive team that values punctuality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate the cash register and process cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Calculate daily/shift totals and reconcile them with overall sales.
  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming checkout experience.
  • Maintain accuracy and speed in a busy store setting.
  • Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with basic store upkeep and merchandise organization.

Required profile

  • No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle weekend shifts.
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies.
  • Availability for day and weekend shifts.
