Carpenter – Construction Site (Calgary, AB)

About the role

The successful candidate will join Baidwan Construction’s on‑site team in Calgary, performing a range of carpentry tasks on active construction projects. This full‑time permanent role involves working at heights and in dusty environments while delivering high‑quality wood and metal installations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare layout plans that comply with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and associated hardware.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to site safety standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1–2 years of carpentry experience on construction sites.
• Physically demanding work; ability to work at heights and in dusty conditions.
• Own steel‑toed safety boots.
• Excellent oral communication, reliability and teamwork.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and overtime.
