Cabinetmaker – Custom Millwork Specialist

About the role

Perfection Millwork Ltd. is seeking a skilled cabinetmaker to join its busy millwork shop in Calgary. You will work on custom‑made cabinets, doors, and furniture, delivering high‑quality finishes for residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers to cut, shape and form components.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications or drawings to produce custom cabinets and related millwork.
• Use CAD/CADD software to prepare specifications and adjust designs.
• Trim joints, fit parts and sub‑assemblies, and reinforce connections.
• Sand surfaces and apply veneer, stain, polish, varnish or laminated plastics.
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to shop safety standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or related millwork.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 kg.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime.
