Brewing Intern

About the role

Our 15‑week internship provides hands‑on experience working on meaningful projects, designed for high‑achieving students interested in building a future with Labatt. You will own and deliver a strategic project that impacts brewery operations while gaining exposure across brewhouse, cellar, and fermentation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver a strategic project that improves brewery operational performance.
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase process efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with Brewmasters, Brewing Managers, and cross‑functional teams across brewhouse, cellar, and fermentation operations.
• Analyze brewing, fermentation, quality, and performance metrics to optimize yields and reduce variability.
• Support brewing quality, food safety, sanitation (CIP/SIP), laboratory testing, sensory evaluation, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Currently in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business or a related field, returning to school in September 2027.
• Graduating in December 2027 or later and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Demonstrates ownership, integrity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and improve.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
