Bookkeeper – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

Grizzly Trucks is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Edmonton. This full‑time, permanent role supports payroll, asset management, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Compute fixed assets and depreciation.
• Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Update general ledgers and produce financial statements.
• Post journal entries and prepare trial balances.
• Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of records.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• College/CEGEP education in a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
