AZ Driver

About the role

Join Labatt’s driver pool as an AZ Driver, transporting goods between Labatt and third‑party facilities across Ontario. You will work afternoons Monday‑Friday, start between 2 PM‑4 PM, and enjoy a consistent schedule with overtime eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods between Labatt or third‑party facilities, including kilometres driven, hook/unhook trailer, and deliveries.
• Complete all EDVIR requirements as required by the MTO.
• Participate in safety conversations and driver‑pool development.
• Perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing ladders, and working on slippery floors.
• Operate motorized equipment, wear required PPE, and adhere to shift work (day, afternoons, nights).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year accident‑free AZ‑licensed driving experience.
• Recent CVOR and clean driver’s abstract (must be provided).
• Ability to operate a manual transmission (asset) and 53’ Quad equipment with dolly legs, SPIF axle, barn doors.
• Experience with B‑Trains and heavy‑haul applications is an asset.
• Strong understanding of MTO Hours of Service regulations and Ontario geography.
• Excellent customer service and mechanical/technical knowledge are a plus.
