Assistant Site Supervisor

About the role

Primary Construction Inc. is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to support multiple commercial construction projects in Etobicoke. This full‑time, on‑site position serves as a leadership apprenticeship, giving you hands‑on experience while you develop the skills needed to eventually lead projects independently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities across several construction sites.
• Support Site Supervisors and field staff to keep projects organized and on schedule.
• Assist with employee time tracking, workforce coordination, and schedule management.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and represent Primary Construction professionally.
• Help with project start‑ups, site mobilization, material purchasing, ordering, and deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse organization, inventory, and company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Perform quality‑control inspections and ensure sites remain clean, safe, and professionally presented.
• Identify potential issues early and work with the team to develop proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Four to six years of hands‑on construction experience.
• Carpentry, framing, or drywall experience strongly preferred.
• Experience across multiple aspects of commercial construction.
• Strong interest in progressing into a site‑leadership position.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
