Site Coordinator

About the role

Multiplex is seeking a Site Coordinator to support the execution of large‑scale construction projects. Working closely with senior superintendents, consultants, schedulers and trade teams, you will help keep the project on schedule, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Superintendent with overall project execution, including schedule management, document control, trade coordination, quality, health & safety, and status reporting.
• Monitor and inspect subcontractor work to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and proper handover to subsequent trades.
• Develop and implement short‑term work programs and proactively identify ways to reduce roadblocks and accelerate the schedule.
• Coordinate timely procurement of resources to maintain the project timeline.
• Track project deficiencies and manage inspection and testing plans (ITPs) for concrete, blockwork, structural steel, fire spray, and other scopes.
• Enforce Multiplex HSE policies, implement the site safety plan, and coordinate third‑party inspections as required.
• Maintain accurate records in the Multiplex Management Systems and support daily logs, manpower counts, photos, and journal entries.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and trades, attend site meetings, and record minutes.

Required profile

• One year of experience as a Site Coordinator or Field Engineer in a general contracting construction environment.
• Post‑secondary degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, document control, and trade coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively on‑site.
