Assistant, Personal Shopping

About the role

The Assistant, Personal Shopping supports the Personal Shopper in delivering a premium, fashion‑driven experience for luxury clients. You will manage schedules, communications, and client logistics while ensuring the suite and sales floor meet Holt Renfrew standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule all appointments and maintain the Personal Shopper’s calendar.
• Draft and send official client invitations and handle all correspondence.
• Represent the Personal Shopper via phone or email, providing superior customer service and timely follow‑up.
• Maintain client profiles, track data, and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and coordinate materials and merchandise for client appointments.
• Arrange alterations, product transfers, holds, and other client services.
• Maintain merchandising standards in the Personal Shopping Suites and on the selling floor.
• Ensure suite readiness, housekeeping, and loss‑prevention measures.
• Attend product knowledge sessions and comply with health, safety, privacy, and cyber‑security policies.

Required profile

• High School diploma.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficient use of the Internet for research and communication.
