Archaeological Field Technician (Casual)

About the role

H3M Environmental is looking for casual Archaeological Field Technicians to support field‑based archaeological assessments across the Fort St. John region. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor, hands‑on work and need a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with archaeological field assessments and investigations.
• Conduct field inspections, collect data, and record observations.
• Operate and maintain field equipment.
• Support project teams in safely completing field activities.
• Travel to various project locations throughout the Fort St. John area.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Required industry safety certifications and appropriate PPE (steel‑toe boots, etc.).
